May you walk in the spirit of hope!
I believe it is possible to walk in the spirit of hope while we live in a broken and anxious world. Let's face it, throughout life we will always encounter some kind of stress or uncertainty. How we manage these things and the perspective that we take on them can make a difference in who we are and who we become. The gift of hope comes to the rescue; let's put it to use!
Just imagine facing life's challenges without getting run over by them. It is possible to do so if we encounter life with our eye on Christ. This requires putting trust in the love of God and faith in the power and promise of salvation. By doing so, we begin to walk in the light of hope, where prayer, worship and biblical study can guide our thoughts, actions and reactions. This is the path of spiritual maturity and wisdom where hope compels us to forgive, repent and love. The anxious world will continue to exist, but through prayer, faith and love, we can walk in the light of hope. May your spirit be filled with hope!
